IELTS FORMAT

SPEAKING: In the IELTS Speaking test, candidates engage in a face-to-face conversation with an examiner. The test assesses their ability to express ideas coherently, demonstrate vocabulary range, use grammatical structures accurately, and convey fluency and pronunciation effectively. It comprises three parts, covering various topics to evaluate candidates' communication skills comprehensively.
READING: This section is different for Academic IETLS and General Training IELTS. However, for both, in 60 minutes, you will be required to answer 40 questions- 20 minutes each.
LISTENING: This test is for 30 minutes and consists of 40 questions in each of the 4 sections. It tests the Listening abilities of the test takers.Test taker is asked to listen to conversations topics, etc and answer the questions based on what was listened to. You have to complete certain summaries, sentences and answer short questions.
WRITING: The IELTS Writing test consists of two tasks that evaluate candidates' writing abilities. Task 1 requires candidates to interpret and describe visual information, such as graphs, charts, or diagrams, in a structured manner. Task 2 involves writing a well-structured essay on a given topic, expressing a clear position, and supporting it with relevant arguments and examples.
